Description
Thea Energy is hiring a Vice President - HTS Magnet Engineering to lead the company’s high-temperature superconducting magnet engineering function. The role owns the long-term technical strategy, organizational structure, budget, roadmap, vendor and manufacturing partnerships, risk management, and scaling of magnet design, build, and test activities. It requires substantial engineering and executive leadership experience, deep technical credibility in HTS magnets or related disciplines, and the ability to work in a facility with industrial hazards, including occasional travel or night/weekend/on-call work. The stated salary range is $240,000-$300,000, with medical, dental, and vision benefits, equity stock options, and 20 days of paid time off.
