ButterflyMX is hiring a Vice President of Data to lead a company-wide data transformation and establish Snowflake and a governed data layer as the authoritative source of truth. The role will define enterprise data strategy, build data products and metric governance, improve forecasting and planning, partner with business functions, and build a data organization that uses AI agents as a primary working tool. The VP will report to the CTO, have four initial direct reports, and remain hands-on with code, models, pipelines, and prototypes. The position requires 12+ years of progressive data experience, including leading professional data teams, and offers a base salary of $250,000-$300,000 plus potential bonuses, equity, and benefits.
