Boston Scientific is hiring a Vice President of Research & Development to lead the global WATCHMAN Left Atrial Appendage Closure business within its Cardiology group. Reporting to the Global General Manager WATCHMAN, the role oversees approximately 100 people and is responsible for long-term product and business strategy, exploratory research, new product development, sustaining engineering, portfolio investment, agile product lifecycles, external partnerships, and cross-functional execution. The position is based in Maple Grove, Minnesota, and requires a BS in Engineering or an applicable technical field, at least 12 years of technical product development and manufacturing experience, 12 years of Medtech experience, and 5+ years managing senior-level leaders.
