Description
WEX is seeking a Vice President of Payments Engineering to lead a global engineering organization responsible for secure, scalable, cloud-native payment platforms processing billions of dollars in transactions. The executive will own engineering delivery, modernize payment systems, drive AI-native software development and intelligent automation, build high-performing teams, and partner with Product, Technology, Commercial, Architecture, Security, Operations, Customer Success, Finance, and external stakeholders. The role requires 20+ years of software engineering experience, at least 12 years leading large engineering organizations, deep payments expertise, enterprise-scale distributed systems experience, and strong executive communication.
