Mastercard is recruiting a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead software engineering teams developing advanced payment technologies and applications. The role owns release quality and platform stability, modernizes legacy and cloud-native architectures, leads AI and intelligent automation initiatives, and guides senior engineering leaders across geographies. It requires hands-on technical and people leadership, distributed systems expertise, advanced Agile and software development process knowledge, TDD/DDD experience, application lifecycle management tool knowledge, and payments or card industry knowledge.
