Instawork is hiring a Video Platform Engineer to build and operate production pipelines that ingest, transcode, synchronize, quality-check, index, version, and deliver multi-camera video and telemetry for robotics training. The role combines media engineering with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, observability, workflow orchestration, and cost-efficient architecture. It requires at least five years of experience building production video or media processing systems, along with expertise in FFmpeg or GStreamer, codecs and containers, distributed systems, and production operations.
