Description
Zattoo is hiring a Video Systems Engineer to operate and maintain the technical backbone of its linear TV and video-on-demand content delivery. The role covers configuring and maintaining linear TV channels, DVB-S headends, satellite and IP ingest, encoding and transcoding server pools, professional broadcast equipment, channel documentation, fault diagnosis, monitoring, alerting, and incident response. Candidates need hands-on broadcast or streaming experience, DVB and MPEG-TS knowledge, satellite receiver and IRD experience, encoding and transcoding knowledge, and familiarity with SRT or Zixi; Python or Bash scripting, FAST channels, SCTE-35, IP multicast, and content protection are bonuses. The position offers a competitive salary, 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours, and up to eight weeks of remote work per year.
