Description
Atrium Health is hiring a full-time Virtual Pharmacist for its Southeast Region virtual pharmacy services team. The role is remote with some travel to acute care facilities in the Greater Charlotte Market and requires Georgia or North Carolina pharmacist licensure, rotating first- and second-shift schedules, weekends, and holidays. The pharmacist verifies medication orders in Epic for medical-surgical, critical care, pediatric, and rehabilitation hospital queues; manages medication therapies; provides drug information and patient counseling; supports emergencies; supervises or checks pharmacy support work; and precepts students and residents. A pharmacy bachelor's degree or PharmD is required, while hospital or critical-care experience and residency training are preferred.
