Description
Ford is hiring an ECU Simulation Engineer to develop and maintain electronic control unit simulations across Level 4 target-native hardware emulation and Level 3 host-native environments. The role supports virtual ECU prototyping for automotive software and control systems engineers, troubleshoots hardware and software integration issues, develops automation scripts, assists adoption of virtual ECU environments, and contributes to project roadmaps. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of simulation, virtualization, or system-programming experience, and strong C/C++ and Python skills. The position is hybrid, may require onsite work four or more days per week, and offers salary grades 7 and 8 ranging from $99,600 to $192,900.
