Description
The Senior Virtualisation Engineer will design, implement, operate, and develop virtualisation and container platforms in complex environments combining traditional virtualisation with cloud-native technology and Kubernetes-based platforms. Responsibilities include administering Kubernetes, OpenStack, oVirt, OpenShift, and Rancher environments; improving stability, performance, and scalability; troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues; developing integrations and automation; contributing to architecture and standardisation; and collaborating with networking, development, DevOps, and other infrastructure teams. The role requires strong expertise in Kubernetes, OpenStack, oVirt, OpenShift, and Rancher, with Linux, container technologies, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies listed as desirable qualifications.
