Description
The role defines next-generation architecture for Apple Vision products, covering display and optics technologies, hardware and silicon definition, software and algorithm development, characterization, and concept demonstrations. Responsibilities include comparing technologies, analyzing performance, manufacturability, and cost trade-offs; defining display architectures and detailed specifications for panels, ASICs, software, firmware, and test procedures; and promoting innovations that improve display performance and user experience. The minimum qualifications are a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience, with experience in display backplane design, display pipelines, image processing, digital signal processing, or display architecture electrical and optical modeling.
