Description
The Visual Inspector performs visual and quality inspection of finished coil-coating products, identifies defects, determines product acceptability, reports discrepancies, and recommends corrective actions or coat/no-coat sequences under the direction of the shift supervisor. The role also involves communicating with operators and quality-control personnel, interpreting production schedules, operating an InkJet printer, using AS400 and Portal systems, recording data, and maintaining a clean work area. Candidates need a high school level of reading and writing, visual acuity, six months of industrial or warehouse experience with forklifts, the ability to operate hand tools, and availability for up to 12-hour rotating shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
