Description
The VLT Operations Manager oversees daily video lottery terminal operations on the gaming floor, including employee scheduling, attendance charting, disciplinary actions, shift communication, event logging, jackpot-winner interaction, guest assistance, and surveillance of suspicious activity. The role requires strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, computer, and multitasking skills, knowledge of gaming-floor games and payouts, confidentiality, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing and pass a background investigation. The position also requires physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and work in a noisy, potentially smoking environment.
