Description

Nasuni is hiring a VMware Administrator / DevOps Infrastructure Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to operate and improve the internal build and release infrastructure supporting its engineering teams. The role manages Jenkins agents and build systems, VMware vCenter and ESX environments, Linux infrastructure, Terraform, Ansible, and Packer automation, release builds, RPM packaging, artifact management, and infrastructure troubleshooting. It is a hybrid position requiring three days in the office and two days remotely.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Administration, or Build Engineering
Experience administering VMware environments including vCenter and ESX hosts
Hands-on experience managing Jenkins infrastructure or build systems using Groovy
Strong Linux systems administration experience
Experience creating infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or Packer
Experience troubleshooting build failures and infrastructure reliability issues
Experience supporting engineering teams through internal infrastructure services
Experience automating repetitive operational tasks
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting build and release infrastructure for software engineering teams
Familiarity with RPM packaging or artifact management workflows
Experience operating large Jenkins environments with multiple build agents
Exposure to GitHub Actions, runners, or modern CI systems
Experience working in environments with VMware clusters supporting development infrastructure
