EUMETSAT is hiring a Data Processing Systems Engineering Team Leader in Darmstadt, Germany, to manage the definition and development of data processing systems and applications for satellite missions, coordinate engineering and contracted teams, lead requirements and procurement activities, and support long-term harmonisation of data processing systems across EUMETSAT’s satellite systems. The role requires a relevant university degree, professional experience in data processing systems development, project and technical management, engineering team leadership, industrial contract management, and knowledge of CCSDS and ECSS standards. The initial contract is four years, with subsequent five-year contracts possible, and the minimum basic salary is EUR 7,553 per month net of internal tax.
