Description
NJAC is hiring a Vocational Specialist/Case Manager for its DOC Programs at Millicent Fenwick House. The role supports adult residents in work release, substance abuse, or special needs programs by assessing abilities and interests, developing employment plans, providing career counseling, coordinating job training and placement, maintaining client records, and collaborating with employers, community resources, and families. The position also includes case management, counseling, crisis intervention, multidisciplinary case conferences, aftercare planning, compliance with correctional protocols, reporting, and confidentiality. A bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field, or six years of relevant experience, is required; supervisory experience is preferred. The role requires background checks, a valid driver’s license, access to an insured vehicle, and availability for evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation.
