Description

RAFT is hiring a full-time Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator in San Jose, California, for regular on-site work including some weekends. The role coordinates individual, community, and corporate volunteers; leads orientations and event facilitation; recruits and builds volunteer partnerships; and supports inventory, purchasing, NetSuite transactions, and kit production. Candidates need at least two years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, and availability for scheduled volunteer activities. Compensation is $20-$22 per hour, with health benefits, a 403(b) match, performance bonuses, vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least two years of experience in volunteer coordination, volunteer management, community engagement, nonprofit programs, corporate volunteering, community events, education, or a related field.
Experience welcoming, coordinating, facilitating, or leading groups of volunteers.
Experience coordinating volunteer programs, community activities, service projects, or events.
