Project Open Hand is hiring a full-time, union, non-exempt Volunteer Coordinator in San Francisco to recruit, schedule, train, and manage volunteers for its meal and grocery services. The role coordinates volunteer outreach, maintains Salesforce records, supports recognition programs, and serves as a liaison among staff, volunteers, and agency departments. Candidates need progressive volunteer-coordination experience, outreach experience, database management skills, and flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays; social-services education, bilingual ability, and Salesforce familiarity are desired.
