Description
The Salvation Army is hiring a full-time Volunteer Coordinator in Charleston, South Carolina, at $16.00–$18.00 per hour. The role is split between coordinating and supervising volunteers and community service workers, including recruitment, scheduling, training, background checks, performance evaluations, assignments, recognition, and disaster-response coordination, and maintaining volunteer records, reports, correspondence, and activity calendars. The position also supports special events, tours, Christmas programs, and other Corps projects. A high school diploma or GED is required, while one year of volunteer-recruitment experience is preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be accepted.
