Description
The volunteer dog walker handles and walks adoptable dogs in a shelter’s Building 1, outdoor kennels, and offsite adoption events, while supporting staff with play-yard and meet-and-greet maintenance, cleaning, donations, and animal bathing. The role requires weekly or monthly availability, background and possibly drug screening, completion of county-required training, physical ability to control multiple dogs, and strong animal-care, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
