Description
Kitsap County is seeking a volunteer Children & Youth representative for its Mental Health, Chemical Dependency & Therapeutic Courts Community Advisory Committee. The role advises the Board of Commissioners on behavioral health funding priorities, reviews and scores program applications, recommends funding decisions, advocates for children, youth, and families, evaluates program effectiveness, and contributes to system-level planning. The position requires monthly meetings and an intensive July–August funding review, with an estimated 60–65 hours annually, and is filled through appointment by the Board of County Commissioners after an interview and selection process.
