Description
Kitsap County is seeking a volunteer Aging and Long-Term Care representative for its Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, and Therapeutic Court Community Advisory Committee. The role advises the Board of Commissioners on behavioral health funding priorities, reviews and scores program applications, recommends funding decisions, advocates for aging and disability populations, evaluates program outcomes, and contributes to system-level planning. Applicants should have experience or strong involvement in aging, long-term care, disability, healthcare, caregiving, behavioral health, or related services. The role requires monthly meetings and an annual July–August funding review, with an estimated total commitment of 60–65 hours per year.
