Description
Kitsap County is seeking a volunteer Aging and Long-Term Care representative for its Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, and Therapeutic Court Community Advisory Committee. The role advises the Board of Commissioners on behavioral health funding priorities, reviews and scores program applications, recommends funding decisions, advocates for aging and disability populations, evaluates program outcomes, and contributes to system-level planning. Applicants should have experience or strong involvement in aging, disability, caregiving, healthcare, behavioral health, substance use, or long-term services and supports. The role requires monthly meetings, an annual July–August funding review, and an estimated 60–65 hours per year, with virtual or hybrid participation and a three-year term.
