Description
Georgia Aquarium is hiring a full-time Volunteer Programs Specialist to support its large and diverse volunteer population. The role coordinates daily volunteer operations, recruitment, onboarding, training, recognition, retention, records, and engagement initiatives; processes volunteer paperwork and background screenings; and collaborates with Aquarium departments and the broader Human Resources Team. The position requires a high school diploma, relevant experience in volunteer administration, human resources, training, customer experience, hospitality, office administration, or a related field, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Weekend work is part of the regular schedule.
