ApTask Global Workforce is seeking a VP, Accounting and Controller for a direct-hire position with a major utility company in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The role is 100% onsite and requires relocation, with relocation assistance available. The executive-level position leads accounting professionals, develops accounting and financial policies, prepares financial reports, establishes internal controls, supports audits and tax filings, and drives process transformation. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, 8–10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience including leadership, a CPA license, and expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, tax regulations, compliance, and risk management. Bilingual English-Spanish ability and a valid driver's license are required.
