Alectra is hiring a full-time Vice President, Centralized Operations for a hybrid role in Hamilton or Vaughan, with travel between the two locations. The position leads the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electricity distribution infrastructure, including system control, substations, protection and control, reliability, emergency preparedness, automation, and smart grid technologies. Responsibilities include senior leadership, strategic planning, operational and capital program oversight, asset and technology management, customer and stakeholder engagement, emergency response, safety and compliance, and development of technical and operational leaders. The role requires a related electrical engineering or recognized equivalent degree, a valid class G driver’s license, progressive leadership experience, and experience with budgets, project management, and stakeholder relationships; PEO or OACETT membership is preferred.
