AXS is hiring a Vice President of Data Engineering to lead its global data engineering organization and own the strategy, architecture, operations, and roadmap of data platforms, pipelines, data lakes, warehouses, streaming and batch systems, data quality, governance, and security. The role partners with senior engineering and business leadership, builds and scales a high-performing distributed team, manages operating budgets, and supports personalization, analytics, fraud prevention, pricing, and reporting. It requires 13+ years of technology leadership, including 7+ years leading data engineering or data platform teams, along with expertise in modern data stacks, cloud platforms, databases, reliability, governance, and vendor management. The position offers a $366,000–$400,000 base salary, bonus eligibility, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and other benefits; work visa sponsorship is not offered.
