Description

Adelaide is hiring a VP of Engineering to lead its engineering function, set technical strategy, own the architecture and delivery of data, measurement, application, and cloud infrastructure, and build and mentor engineering teams. The role reports to the CEO, requires 10+ years of progressive engineering experience including team leadership, and is fully remote within the United States with periodic New York office participation. Compensation includes a base salary and bonus of $300,000+, equity, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership of engineering teams
Experience architecting and operating scalable systems, services, and data infrastructure
Proven track record of recruiting and retaining senior engineering talent
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s or PhD
Experience building or scaling engineering operations in a startup or growth-stage company
Digital media, adtech, or measurement industry experience
Big data infrastructure experience, including warehousing, pipelines, and streaming at scale
Looker or other BI tool experience
Prior experience working closely with founders or executive teams on technical strategy
Track record of building teams of end-to-end owners
