Description
BlueCat is hiring a VP, Engineering, Network Observability to lead the engineering organization behind LiveAction, its network observability product line. The role owns technical direction, architecture, delivery, operational excellence, and the evolution of a complex, data-intensive platform covering network telemetry, AI-driven anomaly detection and root-cause analysis, and enterprise, cloud, WAN, and edge environments. The executive will build and manage geographically distributed engineering teams, establish software standards, partner with Product Management and other business functions, and engage with enterprise and government strategic accounts. The posting requires an MS or BS in a relevant field, 15+ years of software engineering experience, 10+ years managing senior contributors and managers, and extensive experience in network observability, telemetry, SaaS or PaaS engineering, and Java or C++ development.
