Chubb is hiring a Principal Data Engineer to lead engineering strategy and technical direction for Finance, Actuarial, and Corporate Data platforms. The role involves architecting automated data pipelines and integrations, modernizing cloud data platforms, establishing CI/CD and data quality practices, leading complex technical initiatives, and managing approximately five senior data engineers and engineering leads. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 12+ years of progressive data engineering experience, extensive ETL, cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, scheduling, and Python experience, and people leadership experience. The role is based in Whitehouse Station or Jersey City, New Jersey; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; or Simsbury, Connecticut, with a disclosed pay range of $183,700 to $240,000.
