Description
Engine is hiring a VP of Security to own end-to-end security strategy, engineering, operations, AI security, enterprise trust, and corporate IT. The role will build net-new AI security capabilities, including an internal AI gateway, agent identity, prompt and output controls, red teaming, and secure access for AI agents, while leading AppSec, SecOps, CloudSec, RBAC, secrets remediation, SIEM detection, and SOC 2 and PCI controls. Reporting to the SVP of Engineering and AI, the VP will represent security to the executive team, board, and enterprise customers. The role requires 12+ years of security experience, strong AI and cloud-native security expertise, and the ability to build new security functions; compensation is $298,000–$400,000 USD base plus equity and possible bonuses.
