BlackRock is hiring a Vice President to lead its Private Markets Data Engineering team as a senior individual contributor and hands-on technical leader. The role focuses on building AI-ready data platforms, semantic data models, knowledge graphs, metadata-driven architectures, scalable pipelines, and intent-driven data access for analytics, applications, APIs, and AI agents. Responsibilities include technical architecture, solution design, stakeholder collaboration, governance, delivery oversight, and communication of complex technical concepts. The position requires deep expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, graph databases, AI data platforms, and enterprise data governance, along with senior technical leadership experience. The role follows BlackRock’s hybrid model, requiring employees to work at least four days in the office per week.
