Description
BlackRock is hiring a Senior Data Engineer (VP) to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale data platform capabilities. The role focuses on data pipelines, reusable frameworks, metadata-driven processing, data quality and governance, workflow orchestration, production support, platform modernization, and mentoring junior engineers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and at least 8 years of experience in data engineering, data platform engineering, or related software engineering, along with expertise in Airflow, Python, SQL, dbt, Snowflake, cloud platforms, streaming technologies, containerization, and emerging AI technologies. The position follows a hybrid model requiring at least four days in the office per week.
