Description
Cengage is hiring a Vice President, Core Systems to lead shared technology capabilities that enable its digital products to scale across markets and verticals. The role owns the core systems strategy, roadmap, and operating model; drives modernization through generative AI, cloud-native architecture, API-first integration, automation, and observability; establishes shared AI infrastructure and platform services; and builds, develops, and mentors a high-performing engineering leadership team. It requires 15+ years of software, platform, or enterprise technology experience, including substantial shared-services or platform-engineering leadership, along with extensive senior engineering leadership, AI-enabled platforms, legacy modernization, consolidation, and large-scale technology portfolio experience. The disclosed base pay range is $192,500 to $308,000 USD annually, with a discretionary bonus target of 35% of that range.
