Description
The Lead VPK Teacher plans, assesses, instructs, and mentors other teachers for 4-year-old children in the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing and program requirements, builds relationships with families, and promotes children’s social, physical, and intellectual development. Candidates must be at least 18, hold a CDA, associate degree or higher in education, or Florida Child Care Professional Certificate, and have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
