Rutgers University–New Brunswick is hiring a part-time W/S Instructor to teach the fully online, 3-credit undergraduate course “Introduction to Oceanography” during Winter Session 2027 and Summer Session 2027. The role pays $8,331.00 per section and requires a master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, prior higher-education teaching experience, and a PhD, along with experience in oceanographic field techniques, remote teaching, multimedia instruction, and Canvas. The position is fully remote, requires virtual availability during the session periods, and is contingent on successful pre-employment screening and sufficient enrollment.
