OceanaGold is hiring a paid Geology Intern for its Resource Development - Exploration & Geology team at the Waihi underground gold mine in New Zealand. The internship runs approximately from mid-November 2026 through mid-February 2027, with a 9-day fortnight roster, 7:00am to 4:30pm hours, and 40.5 hours per week. Responsibilities include core logging, geological sampling, field mapping, sample dispatch and QA/QC, database validation, data entry, and presenting internship learnings. Applicants must be in their second-to-last or final year of a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology or Earth Sciences, have unrestricted New Zealand working rights, and be available from mid-November 2026 through mid-February 2027.
