Description
The City of Tacoma is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for Tacoma Water to oversee a large warehouse supporting construction, maintenance, and repair activities. The role supervises warehouse employees, manages procurement, inventory control, requisitions, shipments, repairs, records, and personnel, and coordinates with vendors, contractors, and internal departments. Applicants need an equivalent combination of high school graduation, college-level material and inventory control courses, and five years of increasingly responsible experience in procurement, storage, issuance, and inventory control, including two years in a supervisory or lead capacity, plus a valid Washington State driver's license. The position pays $49.61–$54.69 per hour and is subject to a background check and a nine-month probationary period.
