Description
The Warehouse Transportation Department Lead assists the supervisor in leading a warehouse transportation team and driving operational efficiency, compliance, quality, safety, and growth. Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs and service execution, managing inventory and customer exceptions, coordinating receiving and shipping activities, maintaining yard accuracy, supporting transportation systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing staff. The role requires leadership, logistics knowledge, communication, problem-solving, computer skills, and English and Spanish fluency; an associate degree or equivalent education and experience is preferred. The position works the second shift from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
