The City of Alabaster is hiring a full-time Wastewater Collections Operator 1C/CDL in Alabaster, Alabama. The role assists with operating and maintaining pump stations, sewer mains, manholes, and wastewater collection systems, including CCTV sewer inspections, preventative and corrective repairs, system monitoring, equipment operation, recordkeeping, and responding to citizen sewer-service requests. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent education and experience, equipment-operation experience, a valid state driver's license, Alabama Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade I or Grade IC certification, and computer knowledge.
