Veolia is hiring a Wastewater Plant Operator to oversee the daily operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility. The role includes SCADA monitoring, laboratory testing, equipment inspection and repair, filter press dewatering, safety and compliance activities, and collaboration with plant staff. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of wastewater treatment or related experience, and a valid California SWRCB Wastewater Operator Certification; environmental science or engineering education is a plus. The position pays $37.00 to $43.00 per hour and includes health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
