Upstate Niagara Cooperative is hiring a Wastewater Treatment Operator to operate, monitor, maintain, and regulate a wastewater treatment system supporting dairy manufacturing. The role covers dissolved air flotation, equalization, pumps, chemical feed, sludge handling, sampling, laboratory testing, equipment troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, environmental reporting, and safety procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; experience in wastewater treatment, industrial utilities, manufacturing, or environmental operations is preferred, along with wastewater operator certification or the ability to obtain it. The position pays $26.00-$33.00 per hour and requires flexible scheduling, overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage.
