Description
GHD is hiring a Wastewater/Water Treatment Plant Operator in Questa, New Mexico, to support contamination assessment and remediation projects. The role involves solutions analysis, testing, project management, data collection and reporting, product and solution development, equipment installation, and maintenance and repair of plant and machinery, including supervision of contractors. The position requires a high school education, NMED Grade 3 water and wastewater operator certifications, prior wastewater treatment plant experience, strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, a New Mexico driver’s license, and the ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work. Preferred credentials include NMED Grade 4 certifications and 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
