Description
The City of Alabaster Water Division is seeking an internal, full-time, regular Water Production Maintenance Technician to support reliable operation and maintenance of water production facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, calibration, SCADA/PLC work, heavy equipment operation, welding/fabrication, and assistance with plant operations and regulatory compliance. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, Alabama Grade II Water Operator Certification, at least one year of related water operations experience, and a valid Alabama driver's license; a CDL and progress toward Grade IV certification are preferred.
