Description
The Fort Bend County Water Control & Improvement District No. 2 is hiring a Water Production Operator II/III to operate, monitor, maintain, and control its public water system and production facilities. Responsibilities include operating pumps, motors, valves, and chemical feed systems; monitoring treatment processes; recording operational data; performing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting equipment and process issues; and supporting regulatory compliance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant water-production experience or training, and a valid TCEQ Class C or higher surface water or groundwater operator license. Compensation is $25.42–$38.14 per hour depending on operator level, with medical, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
