Description
The Water Quality Technician will work under the supervision of the Drinking Water Quality Manager in office, treatment plant, and laboratory environments. The role is part-time, 16–29 hours per week, for 6–10 months, with a starting hourly rate of $19.63. Required qualifications include an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, prior water treatment or water chemistry and laboratory experience, Microsoft Office and computer skills, and strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, hands-on laboratory experience, data analysis or statistical analysis experience, and familiarity with R or other programming.
