Description
The City Engineer will plan, design, budget, oversee construction, and manage municipal infrastructure projects involving sanitary sewer, stormwater, water distribution, roadway, traffic, and fiber optic facilities. The role performs civil engineering design and technical analysis, prepares drawings and reports, conducts site inspections, manages consultants and contractors, leads a multidisciplinary team, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, four years of municipal engineering experience, and Professional Engineer registration; a master’s degree and CSM or project management certification are preferred.
