Description
Michael Baker International is seeking a Water Resources Intern for Summer 2027 to support its Civil Engineering team in Detroit, Michigan. The intern will assist with hydrology and hydraulics studies, runoff and flow calculations, AutoCAD or MicroStation drafting, data collection and analysis, regulatory permit review, stormwater compliance plans, design reports, and field documentation. Candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Civil or Environmental Engineering and have completed at least one year of college coursework; Microsoft Office, analytical, technical-writing, and communication skills are required, while AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred. Compensation is approximately $24–$26 per hour.
