Description
HDR is hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineer for its Washington Water Business Group to support multidisciplinary teams on public infrastructure projects involving pump stations, pipelines, and treatment facilities. The role includes preparing calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents; selecting design methods and equipment; performing engineering design; and supporting project closeout. The engineer may act as a technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects, delegate to and mentor junior staff, and supervise a small team as needed. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent field, prior experience designing water and wastewater plans and specifications, a Professional Engineer license, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred qualifications include a Washington Registered Professional Engineer status or ability to obtain reciprocity, at least five years of relevant project experience, a master's degree, and software experience.
