KNAPP System Integration in Leoben is hiring a Java Software Developer to modernize WCS software by migrating legacy functionality to a Java-based architecture. The role involves analyzing existing logic, data models, triggers, packages, functions, and processes; developing new functionalities; using jOOQ, IntelliJ, Git, build tools, and modern development processes; optimizing database access and SQL; replacing PL/SQL components; and supporting testing, code reviews, error analysis, and architecture development. The position requires software development training, strong Java and object-oriented development knowledge, relational database and SQL understanding, and preferably Oracle, PL/SQL, jOOQ, IntelliJ, Git, Maven, or Jenkins experience. The minimum salary is gross EUR 3,900 per month for 38.5 hours per week, with home office options and other benefits.
